Virtual tour through the FH JOANNEUM Test Bed Area

In the first half of this webinar, the individual test rigs at FH JOANNEUM will be presented. After a short break you will see how an exhaust gas measurement is carried out. The new WLTP method must be used in order to obtain valid results within the meaning of European law. In addition to the measurement on a chassis dynamometer, the pollutants must be detected as well under real traffic conditions.

SPEAKER

Dipl.-Ing (FH) Thomas Lechner works as a lector at the Institute of Automotive Engineering at FH JOANNEUM, Graz, Austria. He studied Computer Engineering and is mainly responsible for the practical part of electrotechnical and mechatronic education during the bachelor program. In addition to his work as a lector, he is preoccupied as measurement technician at the testing laboratory for vehicles.
